Today will feature sunshine followed by increasing clouds as the next storm system moves in our direction.
Rain will break out later tonight (toward midnight) but at the onset sleet could mix in.
Afternoon highs today will top out in the middle 40s.
Saturday looks rainy with highs in the lower 50s (which should occur late in the day), although the rain will taper off to showers by mid-late afternoon.
Rainfall amounts will average a half inch to inch across the area which can lead to some minor flooding.
We'll have to keep an eye on smaller streams and creeks for potential flooding as well.
