Scouts excited for state quarterfinal showdown with Honesdale

Conrad Weiser continues its run through the PIAA Class AAA tournament on Saturday when the Scouts meet Honesdale out of District 2.


The game is set for a 5:30 tip at Hazleton High School.


The Scouts have been racking up the wins since the county tournament, knocking off powers Berks Catholic, West Perry and Becahi throughout various stages of the postseason.


Honesdale is an athletic team, much like the Scouts, which should provide for a good matchup.


Berks Catholic is also alive and will meet West Perry, ironically, in their quarterfinal Saturday The Saints will be featured on Friday.
