Saints preparing for state opener with Imhotep Charter

The state basketball tournament tips off Friday evening. The Berks Catholic boys drew a tough customer in their opener, District 12-runner up Imhotep Charter.


The game is scheduled for a 7:30 start at Archbishop Carroll High School. It's a shorter trip for Imhotep and their fans, but the Saints are not intimidated by that.



B.C. has played in front of tough crowds and under bright lights all season. This is no different.



In fact, the Saints are welcoming the challenge of playing in a hostile environment Friday night.
