Record breaking cold for some this am; quite cold with sunshine today

After 3-8 inches of snow (with some amounts to 9 or 10 inches) we are left with a very cold air mass.

Expect plenty of sunshine today with afternoon highs holding in the lower and middle 20s.

Be careful on back roads this morning as some are still snow covered and icy.

Saturday will feature some sunshine followed by increasing clouds as a disturbance approaches and will move to the north.

We will see a mix of sunshine and clouds along with a flurry or sprinkle in a few locations.

High temperatures will top out in the lower 40s.
