Wendy davis: Police found the car she was driving... But the whereabouts of a Montgomery County woman are unknown. Police say the 20 year old Royersford resident was last seen Friday night.. WFMZ's Jaccii Farris joins us in the newsroom with the details. Deidra Magolon's family says she is impulsive.. And they have launched a social medial search party to party to help police find her.
REPORTER:Beth Magolon is worried about her 20 year old daughter Deirdra.
BETH magolon: She has always been impulsive. So she took her sister's car and we haven't seen her since.
REPORTER:That was about 6:40 Friday night. Police say the car was found around 40 minutes later on Route 422 near the i-76 interchange in the King of Prussia area. The door was unlocked...her wallet inside. Deirdra has no cell phone...so police say they're relying on the public to help find her.
Sgt ray bechtel: We had some individuals that said she may have been hitchhiking. So anybody that may have seen something suspicious or somebody that may have picked up a hitchhiker if they could contact the police department that would be fantastic.
Reporter: Deirdra's family has launched a social media search party to try to find her.. Posting pictures and a physical description on Facebook. Deirdra is 5'5..125 pounds with blue eyes. Her friends know her as a blonde, but she recently dyed her hair brown. She was wearing either a dark blue or olive colored parka. Her family says she's just getting over leaving a job and the end of a relationship and is trying to figure out what to do next. They say they just want her to come home...and every minute she is gone..
MAGOLON: Very nervous, very hopeful though. I always have hope in me always. I believe in prayer. She is a very strong girl and i believe that if she is still with us she will make it home she is very strong.
