KU men's basketball wins PSAC East hardware

Bear s hibernate during the winter months. Just not Bernie Driscoll's Golden Bears this season. The Kutztown men's basketball team has caught fire over the last few weeks, advancing to the PSAC Semifinals on Saturday at Gannon.


The success has led to some postseason honors, beginning with PSAC East Coach of the Year Bernie Driscoll. He's led the team to 19 wins this year and has a chance to win the conference tournament.



Three of his core players, Tyler Brooks, Tynell Fortune and Josh Johnson have earned All-PSAC East 2nd team selections.



Brooks has also been named Defensive Athlete of the Year. He says none of it would have been possible without his teammates and head coach.
