Homicide at Quality Inn in Easton

The Northampton County Coroner and Easton Police are investigating a homicide that occurred at the Quality Inn at South 3rd Street and Larry Holmes Drive Wednesday afternoon.



According Easton Police Lt. Matthew Gerould foul play is suspected in the death of a local man who was a guest at the motel. Police are not seeking any suspects at this time, there is no threat to the public, and the victim was targeted, Gerould said.



The report came in at approximately 5:55 pm, Gerould said. Police were not anticipating releasing any further information about the investigation or the victim this evening, according to Gerould.
