It looks like the Historic State Theatre of Boyertown has closed its doors.
The owner posted a message on the theatre's website saying he shut the doors on Saturday and is selling the building.
The theatre, located at 61 N. Reading Avenue, played its last movie in December: the holiday classic "It's a Wonderful Life."
Officials had said they couldn't afford to convert the theatre to a digital format and were going to shift the focus to live events.
The theatre is now listed for sale.
