Former pastor heads to trial in shooting death of former mistress

A former pastor accused of killing his ex-mistress in Ephrata, Lancaster County will face trial.



Randall Shreiner waived his preliminary hearing Thursday.


Shreiner, 58, of West Lampeter Township, stands accused of killing Miller in the parking lot behind her apartment complex on East Main Street in Ephrata shortly before 6:30 a.m. February 18.


Police say Shreiner confessed to the crime.


They say Shreiner was upset that Miller recently ended their two year affair.
