A man accused of causing a crash involving five vehicles, including a school bus, in Easton has accepted a deal from prosecutors to plead guilty.
The prosecutors failed to connect Andrew Troxell's marijuana use to the accident, which happened in the 1400 block of Northampton Street on Jan. 15, according to Troxell's attorney, Gary Asteak.
As a result, the most serious charge against Troxell -- aggravated assault while driving under the influence -- has been withdrawn, Asteak said.
Troxell will plead guilty to careless driving and DUI, said Asteak, noting that a court date has not yet been scheduled.
Five people, including the school bus driver, were injured in the accident.
