Crash on Rt. 309 backs up traffic both directions

Motorists traveling on Route 309 in Schuylkill County Thursday morning got to sit in traffic while police cleared an accident.

The accident involved two vehicles and happened around 7:20 a.m. near the All American Jeep dealership in Tamaqua.

County dispatchers said two people refused medical treatment.

Traffic was backed up for miles in both directions before the road was cleared.
