8 Berks wrestlers advance to AAA state quarterfinals

Eight wrestlers from Berks County advanced to the AAA state quarterfinals on Thursday at the Giant Center.

Boyertown led the way with five out of the eight grapplers, including Jakob Campbell, Gregg Harvey, Tommy Killoran, Lucas Miller and Jordan Wood.

Exeter had a pair of wrestlers advance in Austin DeSanto and Brett Kulp.

Finally, Governor Mifflin's Jan Johnson also advanced to the quarterfinals as the defending state champ looks to defend his crown.

The state tournament continues all day Friday.
