There's talk of Allentown's A-Treat getting a revival, nearly two weeks after it fizzled out.
But what would it take for the family-owned beverage company to be a success story once again?
Bill Corriere owns Keystone Food Products in Lehigh County's Lower Nazareth Township.
The snack food company pushes out nearly one million pounds of product every week, and has been around nearly 80 years.
The factory continues to pump out old and new products, despite more and more activity from larger national companies too.
Corriere said his secret is refusing to compete.
"I don't even want to be on their radar," Corriere said.
Instead, Corriere said his company focuses on creativity, adding that customers are willing to pay a little bit more for a brand they love.
"We are always creative, looking at new snacks constantly, all the time," Corriere said.
Corriere also said he invests in the best equipment money can buy.
"We are constantly buying new equipment that makes more product, at better quality, at lower cost," Corriere said.
It's those simple business practices Corriere would emphasize to anyone who may consider taking over A-Treat.
"I think that company can get back on its feet," Corriere said.
But for that to happen, Corriere said some changes will need to be made.
"Possibly some different packaging, and definitely some promotions," Corriere said.
Though, he went on to say that drastic alterations won't likely work out.
"They are great because of their unique flavors. I buy A-Treat because I can't get those flavors from Coke," Corriere said.
The only way to keep a tradition going he said, is to keep the tradition.
