Gold bars stolen in Carbon County

Police are asking for the public's help after an unusual crime in Carbon County.

Authorities said six gold bars were stolen from a home on Tamarack Terrace in Penn Forest Township.

Investigators said the theft happened between January 26th and the 29th.

The bars are valued at $15,000 each. Police said cash and a set of keys were also taken.
