Man guilty of all charges in violent home invasion

A man involved in a violent home invasion in Northampton County last April was found guilty of all charges Wednesday.


Steven Torino, 42, of Wilson Borough, was convicted of robbery, false imprisonmewnt, unlawful restraint, theft, receiving stolen property and related offenses.


Police say after posing as interested home buyers at a home in Washington Township April 30, Tomino and Ramon Clark came back to the the next day.



The pair apparently said they wanted to take pictures but instead duct-tapped the elderly homeowners, stuffed them in a pantry and robbed the place.


Clark was arrested that day after a chase, and Tomino turned himself in three weeks later.


Clark's trial is expected later this year.


A sentencing date for Tomino has not been set.
