Death sentence for Monroe County killer

A possible serial killer convicted in a Monroe County killing has been formally sentenced to death.

Charles Hicks was convicted last year in the 2008 murder of Deanna Null.

Police said Hicks killed and dismembered Null, before leaving her remains scattered along several highways in the Poconos.

During the trial, prosecutors said Hicks admitted to killing five women in Texas.

That remains under investigation.
