Red Cross helps family whose home burns

The Red Cross is helping a Northampton County family after fire tore through their home.

It happened at 168 Windsor Street in Lehigh Township around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Fire officials say the fire was mainly in the living room.

Crews got the blaze under control quickly because the Lehigh Township Fire Department was doing Santa deliveries so they were already on the road.

No one was hurt.

The Red Cross is assisting one person with food, clothing, winter coat, shoes and lodging.
