Adaptik Corp., located near Bethlehem, has been been ranked among the 100 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania in 2014.
Adaptik was recognized at the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania awards ceremony held Thursday at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster.
It is the fifth consecutive year that Adaptik has received the honor.
For 2014, it came in at 50 among the top 100.
The awards identify, recognize and honor the best places to be employed in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses.
“We are honored to be named a Best Place to Work in PA for the fifth consecutive year,” said John Pettit, president and CEO of Adaptik, in a news release.
“We have a dynamic and talented group of individuals that help make Adaptik a wonderful place to work and we appreciate our employees' feedback and comments that contributed to this distinction.
"This award is a testament to their dedication, enthusiasm, and on-going commitment to our company and our customers.”
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work.
That included an evaluation of each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics and an employee survey.
Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process.
Founded in 2000 and based in Hanover Township, Northampton County, Adaptik develops administration software solutions for the property & casualty insurance industry.
The benefits of that software enable companies to increase speed-to-market for new policies, agility and ability to scale in order to support a large number of users who have high transaction volumes.
