When filling your grocery cart, remember the food bank

Tis' the season for giving and Second Harvest Food Bank in Allentown is hoping to be on the receiving end.

Director Ann McManus says the need for food is high right now. They distribute food through over 200 member agencies in six counties.

There's a high need for foods that are high in protein like canned or dried beans, tuna, and peanut butter.

There's also a need for cereal, spices, and non-food food items like toilet paper and diapers.

One way to donate is through the Toyota Tundra Food Drive, put on by the Lehigh Valley Toyota dealers, the IronPigs, and WFMZ.
