There's another new restaurant in downtown Allentown!

Tony Luke's, best known for its Philly cheesesteaks, opened a new location Monday at 806 W. Hamilton Street.

The new spot is a block from Allentown's newest venue, the PPL Center, home of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms hockey team.

The restaurant opened with a ceremonial cheesesteak cutting by Tony Luke Jr. at noon Monday.

Tony Luke's joins a growing list of restaurants in center city Allentown, including Chickie and Pete's, Hamilton Kitchen, Crust, Roar and Tim Horton's.
