Top News : Parkland, Becahi girl's volleyball teams win PIAA championships

The Parkland and Bethlehem Catholic girl's volleyball teams captured PIAA championships Saturday in Johnstown.

The Trojans knocked off 2-time defending state champion Hempfield, 3-1, in the AAA final.

Becahi outlasted Ft. LeBoeuf, 3-2, in the AA final.

Marian Catholic was in the class A championship game, but fell to Greensburg Central Catholic in 5 sets.

A congratulations to all three teams on outstanding seasons.
