A man on death row for the murders of four Northampton County people won't be put to death -- at least not any time soon.
Michael Ballard has been asking to waive his right to appeal and go ahead with his execution a judge Tuesday issued a stay of execution.
The judge had also ordered psychiatric evaluations to determine if Ballard is competent.
Also on Tuesday, the judge allowed Ballard to waive his post-conviction rights.
