Local students with an interest in law enforcement put their skills to the test Thursday night.



Members of Explorer Post 27 took information they learned over the past 10 months and applied it to different mock scenarios.



That included taking a wanted person into custody and using first aid skills after a mock car accident.



The post is run by the Berks County Sheriff's office and is named in honor of Deputy Sheriff Kyle Pagerly- who was killed in the line of duty in 2011.
