Police catch up with man suspected in two robberies

A suspected robber's luck ran out at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem.

That's where police arrested Stephen Glose, 50, of Catasauqua.

Investigators believe Glose robbed the Sheetz on Schoenersville Road on Monday. During the incident, police say Glose handed the teller a note that said "I'm robbing you." He was able to make off with some cash.

Police also believe Glose robbed the Taylor Family Fuel station on South New Street Tuesday afternoon. Investigators say he again presented a note to the clerk demanding cash before driving off.

Police reviewed surveillance video of that robbery, and about 30 minutes later, police arrested Glose at the Sands Casino. Investigators say they found the robbery note used at Taylor Family Fuel on him at the time of arrest.

Glose is now charged with robbery, theft and receiving stolen property. He's being held in Northampton County Prison on $30,000.
