The Bethlehem Catholic and Saucon Valley football teams earned District 11-AAA semifinal wins on Sarturday, booking their spots in the championship game next Saturday.

In Bethlehem, the (1) Golden Hawks cruised to a 55-18 victory over (4) Lehighton.

Freddie Simmons highlighted the night with a 68-yard touchdown catch and run.

At Southern Lehigh, the (2) Spartans fell in a tightly contested game to (3) Saucon Valley, 20-17.

Evan Culver's 20-yard touchdown run int he 4th quarter proved to be the difference for the Panthers.
