Exeter, Tulpehocken girls excited for PIAA quarterfinals

The Exeter girls volleyball team and Tulpehocken girls soccer team will be in PIAA quarterfinal action on Saturday.


The lady Eagles will face Cumberland Valley, another District 3 team, at Warwick HS at 2:00.


Exeter and Cumberland Valley lost to Hempfield in the District tournament, so that's provided a measuring stick for the Eagles. If they can get around Cumberland Valley's size, Exeter likes their chances.


The Tulpehocken girls will square off with Warrior Run out of District 4 on Saturday at 5:00 at Northern Lehigh HS.


The lady Trojans have been on a mission since falling in the District 3 final, illustrated by their win over District 11 champion Pine Grove in the first round.
