Dispatchers: Man calls 911 to report being shot in head

Police and paramedics are on the scene of a reported shooting in Reading.


Dispatchers reported receiving a 911 call from the victim shortly before 5:30 p.m, reporting that he had been shot in the head in the 1100 block of Elm Street.


Initial reports from the scene were that he may have been grazed by a bullet.


Numerous RPD officers are now canvasing the area in search of the shooter while paramedics care for the victim.
