Quakertown redistricts local schools

Some Quakertown students will be attending new schools when they return to classes next year.

The board of school directors approved a redistricting plan Thursday night.

Students going to 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th grades will have a choice.

They can stay in the school they have been attending, or go to a new school, based on the district's map.

The move will be mandatory for some elementary school students.
