Berks County reality TV star Kate Gosselin has heard the words no contestant on Donald Trump's 'Celebrity Apprentice' wants to hear.
"Kate, you're fired!" Trump told Gosselin at the end of the television series' latest episode, which aired on NBC Monday night.
Gosselin was tasked with serving as manager of a project centered around the Trump National Doral luxury resort in Miami.
"Kate, you are the project manager, which is a problem. There's no question about that," Trump told the mom of eight before his dismissal of her. "Trump National Doral is really high-end, and it [her presentation] didn't have a luxury feel. I will say that."
Gosselin immediately reacted to her firing with a whisper, "Wow."
Fellow contestant and team member Geraldo Rivera embraced Gosselin as they walked out of Trump's boardroom together.
"Wow! I didn't see that coming," she told him.
"She's very nice, but I had no choice," Trump remarked to his two sons, Eric and Don Jr., after Gosselin left the room.
Only three weeks remain until the show's live finale. The series will continue next Monday, Feb. 2, at 8 p.m.
As for Gosselin, the Lower Heidelberg Township woman continues the eighth season of her other television series, "Kate Plus 8," which airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on the TLC network.
