Car slams into gas pump in Whitehall

A car slammed into gas pump at a Shell station in Whitehall.


It happened Tuesday evening on MacArthur Road.


Officials say no one was injured in the accident.


According to police, the driver of the car said he was braking for stopped traffic when his vehicle slid into the gas station parking lot. The car struck a gas pump, causing it to fall onto an SUV


Both cars were damaged.


Police said summary citations may be filed against the driver.
