The state semifinal games are tomorrow for four separate sports in Pennsylvania. Volleyball is one of those, and Berks County has a pair of teams playing in the semifinal round. Exeter is one of those teams and the Eagles have a tough draw. Of course, that's to be expected at this point in the postseason, but Exeter faces the state's top ranked team, Parkland. The Eagles would love another shot at Hempfield who beat them in the District 3 tournament, but they have to win tomorrow first, and doing that means playing as well as they have all season long and not making mistakes.
The Oley Valley field hockey team is also in the state semifinal round. The Lynx get a rematch with a team that beat them last season in the same round, Crestwood. The Lynx are using that loss as motivation and to prepare. They are also more confident heading into this year's meeting between the two.
