Joseph McAndrew, Jr., was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences without parole in Montgomery County Court Thursday for the murders of his parents and twin brother.
In August, he was found guilty of first degree murder, but mentally ill, for the stabbing deaths of his three family members.
In March 2011, McAndrew Jr. used an 18-inch dagger to kill his mother, Susan McAndrew, 64; father, Joseph McAndrew, 70; and twin brother, James McAndrew, 21 at their home in Upper Merion Township.
