Top News : Brush fire fought at Sunny Rest nudist resort

A stubborn brush fire was reported at 2:43 p.m. Thursday afternoon on the grounds of Sunny Rest Lodge,a nudist resort in Franklin Township, Carbon County.


Dispatchers in the Carbon County Communications Center did not know how much acreage was involved.


As of 3:45 p.m., the fire still was not under control.


No injuries were reported and no structures were in immediate danger.


Established in 1945, Sunny Rest is a clothes-free resort.
