School bus incident in Carbon County

Officials in Carbon County say they are investigating after several students were injured on a school bus.



The Panther Valley School District says a bus was heading toward Panther Valley Middle School yesterday morning when it came to a sudden halt for an unknown reason.



Officials say more than two-dozen students were on the bus. Many complained of aches and pains. 23 were sent home from school after being examined by a nurse.



According to officials, the driver, an unidentified contractor, is not working for the district at this time.
