Potential buyers are lining up to show interest in the now closed A-Treat company in Allentown.
Jerry Barr, attorney for the owners of A-Treat, told 69News Monday that he has received numerous requests for more information on the business from potential buyers.
Most want to buy the business so they're looking at records from the past three to five years, along with A-Treat patents, Barr said.
He said A-Treat is preparing due diligence paperwork for the suitors' requests, which will then go back to the potential buyers.
Some of the potential buyers want to move quickly, Barr said, but there's no indication on when offers would be made.
Barr said he hopes an offer would be made in around 30 days, but he's not sure that will happen, as another request for information came in Monday.
The nearly-100-year-old company abruptly closed its doors on January 23, leaving around 40 employees without a job.
The company made 32 different kinds of soda at its plant, located at 2001 Union Boulevard in east Allentown.
